Extracurricular activities
This page is for a list of all of the extracurricular activities that I am or was involved in.
Tennis:
I played tennis during my freshman year in high school. I was fairly good at the beginning of the year, but I got better after I played for the team. I got the "most improved player " award at the end of the year. I was rank number 3 at the end of the year because I lost 2 challenge matches a week before the Tennis banquet, where I had gotten the award. I did not play JV tennis in 2009-2010 school year, because I was not able to make it to the try outs last summer. I still play tennis sometimes, but I play table tennis more than tennis.
Westchester Academy of International Studies Spring Show Boys dance:
In 2006, I was a 7th grader at WAIS (Westchester Academy of International Studies) . That year I was one of the two boys that participated in a all boys dance routine. I got an award dancing for the dance team. Things have changed at WAIS since I was there.
National Junior Honor Society:
In 2008, I joined the NJHS at WAIS. I volunteered at the High School Masquerade Ball. I helped decorate before the dance. I was actively involved with the NJHS is middle school.
Student Council:
At WAIS, I was involved with the Student Council Spring Activities of 2008.
Elves and More:
On December 21st, 2005 , I went to the Reliant Center to volunteer at the Elves and more charity. I helped build and test bikes for under privileged children.
Presidents Volunteer Service Award:
In 2005, when I was in 6th grade, I recieved the Bronze Award from the President's Council. I was one of the many students that helped clean the Buffalo Bayou so that it would not endanger the local habitat.
