I have participated in many community events ranging from volunteering at many of the SRKT events to painting a mailbox in my neighborhood.

Shri Radha Krishna Temple Events:

Shri Radha Krishna Temple is located in Houston,Texas.  I go to this temple regularly. I have helped out in many of its events including the Sports Day 2009 and 2008, Diwali Celebration, the Health Fair. The temple’s website is srkt.org

Picture of the Health Fair:

The Health Fair was held on Feb. 9th, 2008. At the health fair, there were many doctors and physicians who offered their services for free to everyone. It is hard to tell, but I am the guy on the bottom left hand corner holding the chair and carrying a bag. I did a speedcubing demonstration live, and it was on the radio. I also helped out in general.

The Sports day 2009 took place on Feb. 14, 2009. This is a picture of the Jeopardy round. I am in the center sitting next to my sister( the girl with the pink shirt) I got second place in table tennis doubles competition and won the Group C spelling bee competition.

I volunteered at the Diwali Mela 2005 as well. which was held on November 12th, 2005

Barsana Dham Houston Chapter:

I was the youth coordinator of the Hinduism awareness week which took place on January 9,2009 from 10 am-12pm

Swami Nikilanand explains the fundamental concepts of hinduism.

Rajat M. gets a perfect score 10/10 on the quiz, and wins a camera. Many other kids, including me, got 9/10. Swami Nikilanand put all our names in a box and drew out one name. I was that lucky winner and I won an mp3 player

I am currently an announcer on the radio for  Barsana Dham radio hour which airs on 1460 am from 10 am to 11am in Houston, Texas
